Terri Beardow
Although drawing played a major role in her childhood, Terri has only recently come back to her art after a full working life. She was born in England, but has lived in Canada most of her life, and has called Millbrook home for a number of years.
She is most comfortable with ink, graphite and coloured pencils which allow a complete range of colour and blending while giving her the detail she craves. Her intricate designs are purely imaginative, often abstract, sometimes mixing themes of fantasy and reality.
“My initial sketches are started from a central shape or motif and I work outwards from there. Usually I have no idea where that motif is taking me. I just allow it to form and supply its own story.”
*Terri also works here at the gallery and can help you choose just the right piece of work for your collection. She also does our framing!
